Water is commonly thought of as free. So why be worried about how much water we use on sprinklers?
Did you know almost half of all water used by a Colorado household is used outside on the grass in just 3 months! We have high-efficiency washers that are responsible for reducing water that only uses 5-10% of annual water use. Don't you think we should do something about the area that uses half of all annual consumption of water! We sure do!
Conserving water is exactly why this company was founded. Colorado is a headwater state and as such the majority of our water leaves the state borders. As the population continues to increase in Colorado so will water conservation methods.
We've chosen to position ourselves ahead of the impending transition to conservation-oriented sprinkler methods. Of course, these methods also save money, water, and your time!
Many factors influence how much water is used by the irrigation system. Aside from simply switching out a controller - efficient programming, soil amendments, aerating the lawn and how tall the grass is all contribute to maximizing water use. When properly used it's common to see a 50% reduction in avg. seasonal water use.
